new CHURCH

opening

jan 26'

We're building a ministry that reaches beyond our walls. Serving northeast Columbia's underserved and forgotten.

Jesus saw the need, had compassion and moved.

Compassion without action is emotion, not ministry.

Sharing Christ

By Helping

Those in Need

We aim to share Christ by helping those in need, building a body shaped by service and devotion. As we grow together in faith, we seek to embody His mission in our homes and every place He sends us daily.

"I have No issue with God,

 it's with the Church"

We hear you. Tired of churches that talk but don't act? Frustrated by sermons without service? We get it. Our foundation is prayer and God's Word—but we're also in the streets every day. Feeding the hungry. Supporting seniors. Helping the homeless. Serving our community. We're done with Sunday-only Christianity. We're living the Great Commission. If that's what you've been looking for, welcome home.

our mission

To share the love of Christ by intentionally serving where the need is greatest — those who are suffering, overlooked, underserved, and facing poverty, crime, or systemic challenges. In Columbia, these needs are most concentrated in historically marginalized neighborhoods, and we serve alongside these communities to bring hope, support, and transformation.

Who We Are

A husband-and-wife team who saw the need in Columbia—and refused not to act any longer. We believe Jesus still changes lives and that the Church must make a real difference for families, seniors, youth, and those who feel forgotten. This ministry is our yes to God and our commitment to this city

What We Do

We meet needs with compassion and action—providing affordable healthcare, supporting seniors, mentoring youth, assisting the homeless, and reaching those who've walked away from church but not from God. Our ministries show Christ's love through consistent presence in the community and genuine care.

We Need You

We're launching a church where service comes first. We need builders who share our heart for the underserved and hurting communities in northeast Columbia—not people who just want to attend church. If you're tired of spectating and ready to make an impact — we need you. Come share the love of Christ to those outside our walls.

Our Day-One Ministries (Ready to Launch, Ready to Grow)...

These ministries are planned, structured, and leadership is in place. While operations begin at launch, we are still recruiting volunteers, creatives, and experienced helpers who want to strengthen and expand these areas.

CITY Kids Children's

Church

Dedicated children's church while you worship. This isn't traditional Sunday school—we teach Scripture and biblical truths through games, activities, and music, making learning fun and memorable. We provide meals, create a safe space where kids discover God's love, and send them home excited. Christian volunteers needed to help lead.

Beautiful & Strong

 Women's Wellness

Addressing the diabetes and obesity crisis facing women in Columbia through affordable GLP-1 weight loss programs, Zumba with family-friendly music, weekly support groups, and nutrition counseling. Building a sisterhood where women support each other's health transformation. Making life-saving care accessible and affordable. Led by Lady Burgess, certified Zumba instructor.

Business & Entrepreneurship

Training

Given the current political climate—combined with persistent poverty our community has always faced—we must build our own economic power. God is our source, He will provide, but you need training. Free weekly classes: business planning, AI tools, financial management, marketing. Create generational wealth and achieve economic freedom for your family. Led by Pastor Burgess, a Fortune 100 consultant.

What We Need to open Right Now...

We’re a new ministry building from the ground up, and these are the areas where we need hands, leadership, and hearts immediately. These are the first ministries, systems, and outreach efforts we’re working to launch in our first 90 days—and we cannot do them without you.

King’s Men: Calling Men

to Lead, Grow, and Stand Together

Young men in Columbia are facing crime, drugs, poverty, and broken systems. The church must respond. We're building a men's ministry centered on discipleship, mentorship, accountability, and brotherhood—showing men the hope and direction found in Christ through real relationships and practical support. Looking for a leader and volunteers  who share this burden. Let's talk.

Safe Haven After School

 Program

Combating the latchkey crisis by providing free or low-cost after-school care at our adopted elementary school. Meals, homework help, recreation, basketball, and supervision in a safe environment—so no child goes home alone and unfed while parents work. We have the space and the calling. Need volunteers passionate about helping working families.

Golden Years

Fellowship Center

A FREE social center for active, independent seniors—not medical care or custodial services. Daily activities include fellowship, nutritious meals, games, exercise, and pickleball league. A safe, welcoming space where seniors stay mentally and physically active, make friends, and thrive with dignity. Provides respite for families caring for aging parents. Volunteers needed to honor our elders

What We’re Preparing to Build Next...

As we establish our foundation, these are the ministries and outreach efforts we plan to launch in the following 90 days. With your help, prayer, and partnership, we’ll be able to expand our impact and begin serving more people across our community.

sENIOR

PRIMARY CARE

We're opening a primary care practice here at City on the Hill for seniors in our underserved community. Hiring a dedicated provider to address healthcare disparities facing African-American seniors with chronic conditions. Comprehensive primary care and chronic disease management in a compassionate, Christ-centered environment. Pay what you can afford based on your income—FREE for the uninsured. Your health matters.

Dignity Restored

Homeless Outreach

"But for the grace of God, there go I".
We have the facility with bathroom and shower. We have the vision. We need someone to build and lead a ministry providing showers, clean clothes, and warm meals to our homeless neighbors with dignity and compassion. Christ calls us to serve the least of these. If this burden is on your heart, contact us.
